Hi, I'm Michiel van Ommen. I'm a visual artist at the game academy IGAD in the Netherlands. My interests are in art, story telling, technical design, and history.
I started off my carrier as a draftsman due to the lack of any digital art academies in Switzerland.
After having received a certificate in engineering, I strove to join a game academy in a different country.
Now I am eagerly looking for an internship course for my final year before joining a company to take part of this wonderful industry that is game development.
I help creating cutscenes for the game, testing the new pipeline by creating promotional material, and also create assets for game and cutscene itself.
A 4 year long apprenticeship at a business oriented school. It is basically like a normal company, but funded by the government.
I became a certified industrial draftsman. At this company, we mainly focused around clocks and watches.
